Help foster children to attend Royal Family Kids Camp this summer!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! RFKC is a week-long summer camp for kids ages 7-11 who are or have been in the foster care system. The kids who attend camp have experienced neglect or abuse or constantly changing home situations. The statistics on what becomes of these kids as they grow into adults are grim. They are far overrepresented in the societal populations of high school drop outs, pregnant teens, sex trafficked, addicts, prisoners and homeless. At camp they experience the contrary of what they've experienced to this point in their lives. They are showered with love, demonstrating how special and valuable they are, and what a great hope God has for their future. They get to have great fun, to enjoy just being kids. This one week at camp can be a life changing experience, changing their trajectory forever. I am blessed to have been a leader at this camp for the past 3 years, facilitating a great experience for the kids, and supporting our adult volunteers.

If you live in Arizona, your donation will be a 100% tax credit and will reduce, dollar-for-dollar, the amount of taxes you will owe on your Arizona state income tax return. If you don't owe any Arizona taxes, you get all of your money back when you file your taxes and receive your refund. A single taxpayer can give any amount up to $500 and married couples can give any amount up to $1,000 and receive the tax credit. Your donation does not limit your ability to give under other Arizona tax credits, such as the private and public school tax credits. You can give and benefit under all three tax credits! And any amount over the $500/$1,000 can be deducted as a charitable donation on your Federal taxes, if you qualify to itemize deductions.
