Teen Reach Adventure Camp is a week-long summer camp sponsored by McDowell Mountain Church for kids who are or have been in the foster care system.

Arizona taxpayers are eligible to submit a dollar-for-dollar tax credit, which can reduce the amount of Arizona State income taxes that are owed. In 2024, a single taxpayer can donate up to $587 and married couples can donate up to $1,173. Your donation does not limit your ability to give under other Arizona tax credits, such as the private and public school tax credits.

Teen Reach Adventure Camp is a faith-based summer camp for teens who currently reside, or have previously been, in the foster care system. TRAC Scottsdale hosts both boys and girls camps over a single week and is sponsored by McDowell Mountain Community Church.

TRAC offers hope and encouragement to foster children who are 12 to 15 years old. Many of these children have suffered abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and our camp is specifically designed to ensure the success of every foster child who attends camp, with adults trained in understanding and focusing on the strengths of foster youth!

Each three-day camp provides a unique ratio of one camp counselor to every two children, and each camp is single-gender to promote a greater level of comfort between staff and attendees. Through quality time and encouragement, each child leaves camp with a positive outlook on life. Campers explore the wilderness, embark on a high-ropes course, and participate in a low-level challenge course that helps the children recognize the importance of self-respect, teamwork and communication while having fun.

We provide a safe place for youth with safe people who care about them. TRAC offers campers the opportunity to work hard and play hard, while learning to value themselves and others.

Donations in ANY amount are appreciated and directly benefit the campers who attend!
