T.R.A.C. is a summer camp sponsored by Crossroads Nazarene Church for kids who are or have been in the foster care system.
If you live in Arizona and your donation will be a 100% tax credit and will reduce, dollar-for-dollar, the amount of taxes you will owe on your Arizona state income tax return. If you don't owe any Arizona taxes, you get all of your money back when you file your taxes and receive your refund. A single taxpayer can give any amount up to $587 and married couples can give any amount up to $1,173 and receive the tax credit. Your donation does not limit your ability to give under other Arizona tax credits, such as the private and public school tax credits. You can give and benefit under all three tax credits!
The camp is specifically designed to ensure the success of every foster child who attends camp. The camp provides a unique ratio of one counselor to every two children, and each camp is single-gender to promote a greater level of comfort between staff and attendees. Through quality time with each child and encouragement, each child leaves camp with a positive outlook on life. Campers will experience a variety of fun activities including a theme party, talent show, hiking, archery, swimming pool, kayaking, bubble ball, creativity center and our annual all camp Olympics. They will also participate in a low-level challenge course that helps them recognize the importance of self-respect, teamwork and communication while having fun!Donations
