Donate to help sponsor at least ONE foster kid to attend TRAC!

This summer I will be attending two different camps for kids in the foster care system. This will be my 19th year of being involved and my 16th year of actually going to camp. To say it has been life changing would be an understatement! This camp gives kids in foster care one week out of the year to just be kids, to have fun and to make good memories. Moments matter!

We are sending 75 kids to camp and need to raise money to sponsor the kids. It costs $500 to fully sponsor one foster kid.

If you live in Arizona and your donation will be a 100% tax credit and will reduce, dollar-for-dollar, the amount of taxes you will owe on your 2019 Arizona state income tax return. If you don't owe any Arizona taxes, you get all of your money back when you file your taxes and receive your refund. A single taxpayer can give any amount up to $500 and married couples can give any amount up to $1,000 and receive the tax credit. Your donation does not limit your ability to give under other Arizona tax credits, such as the private and public school tax credits. You can give and benefit under all three tax credits!

Camp is specifically designed to ensure the success of every foster child who attends camp. Each three-day camp provides a unique ratio of one counselor to every two children, and each camp is single-gender to promote a greater level of comfort between staff and attendees. Through quality time with each child and encouragement, each child leaves camp with a positive outlook on life. Campers explore the wilderness, care for animals, ride on horseback and participate in a low-level challenge course that helps them recognize the importance of self-respect, teamwork and communication while having fun!
